I’m Milla, a creative and lover of beautiful things. I create art to showcase beauty I see in the everyday life, often missed if one doesn’t actively take the time to look. 

Regardless of what is happening in my life, I find myself constantly enthralled by colour and fluid like shapes. I do believe that noticing and seeking simple beauty in our surroundings has a major impact on our personal outlook. I create art that serves as a visual invitation to pause, encouraging viewers to cultivate mindfulness, embrace reflection, and uncover simple joy within their immediate surroundings.

I avoid boxing myself into a single style, preferring instead to let color interact freely to create depth, movement, and emotion. I am always excited to try a new style and a different medium. 

Based in Newcastle, Australia, I am heavily influenced by the natural bush and beach scapes that makeup the coastal city. I have been fortunate to grow up surrounded by vibrant colours and beautiful scenery that continues to inspire me daily. Outside of the studio you’ll find me laying on a beach, spending time with my gorgeous chocolate labrador, bush walking or planning a quick roadtrip with friends.

I hope my art serves as a gentle reminder to slow down, dream a little, and take in the beauty right in front of you.
